No-spoiler book reviews, because I hate spoilers.
The protagonist’s voice was clear and engaging from the start, despite the gross and morally repulsive acts that he engages in.
This book is a satire and it has its hilarious moments. The author purposely conveyed the banality of the protagonist’s life. That being said, the gimmick gets old and it’s very boring until the second half of the book.
Hobb’s prose is phenomenal and she captures an old timey feel right from the get go. This book is an origin story about a bastard son.
